Our Workshops

  • Hula Hoop

Hula hooping is not only spinning the hoop around your waist, it is so much more than that!

We will move the hoop off and on the body creating a dance. At the end of the workshop you will be able to perform a short choreographied hoop dance and will hoopefully feel comfortable to just flow as well.

  • Poi

‘A weight on a tether’ is the simple meaning behind the Maori word ‘poi’. It could be your keys at the end of a lanyard, or your gloves on a string. If you can spin it in a circle, it can be considered a poi.

In this workshop, we will teach you the basic concepts of flow arts and explore different planes and movements.

  • Build Your Own Prop (BYOP)

We have put together a workshop to show you how to build your own practise props.

We provide the materials and instructions, while you can experiment with sizing and weights.

  • Partner Moves

Grab a buddy, fans, hula hoops or juggling rings. In this workshop we will show you some of our favourite partner moves….

    … because sharing is caring.

  • Partner Staff

In this workshop the Cirkodelic duo - Vale and Roku - explore improvisational and theatrical staff dancing.

Don’t expect technical tricks but more conceptual inspiration for a more playful, unique and theatrical improvisation.

Why engage in flow arts and juggling?

  • Train your body & mind

Practising juggling and flow arts requires focus, concentration, and spatial awareness, enhancing hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and fine motor skills.

It challenges and stimulates the brain while also improving physical dexterity.

  • Play

Engaging in play through juggling and flow arts encourages individuals to take a break from the seriousness of adulthood, unleash their inner child and rediscover the pleasure of being in the present moment.

  • Flow

When in flow, time seems to fly, and we experience a heightened sense of focus and fulfilment.

Due to its rhythmic and repetitive nature juggling and flow arts can facilitate the attainment of flow and induce a state of relaxation, promoting overall mental well-being.

  • Create

Juggling and flow arts are not just about replicating existing patterns; they are about creating and exploring different movements and sequences.

Using our bodies and props as brushes to paint patterns in the air, we become artists of motion and are encouraged to develop a unique style that reflects our personality.
